This was my first time trying English Breakfast but you were out of the Organic Irish Breakfast so I thought I would give it a try. It's a very satisfying morning cup and I'm not sorry for substituting it. I just may do it again.

It is hard to believe that english breakfast teas can be so different from one maker/grower to the next. This tea is not made in the traditional way of english tea. It cannot be brewed strong and long. It gets very astringent. I like that it is organic. I prefer a strong english breakfast with a bit of milk. This is not that tea. BUT. For those of you who like a medium bodied tea with lemon or nothing this is the tea for you!

A nice strong tea for the morning or pick up in afternoon.

English Organic Breakfast tea is the best! (Saturday, March 31, 2012)
Reviewer: Kathleen

To say I love this hearty, flavorful tea would be an understatement! It is a perfect wake-me-up tea, soothing and very satisfying. Preferring strong tea, I add 2 heaping teaspoons to the infuser, add 8-9 oz. boiling water and then steep for 4 minutes. The addition of non-fat milk with a tiny dash of sweetener results in a truly wonderful mug of tea. Yummy!

Vanilla Bean very good (Saturday, March 31, 2012)

This tea is very flavorful and soothing. I drink it daily first thing in the morning. The mug I use is large, placing 2 heaping teaspoons in the infuser, steep the first time for 3 min. Then brew a 2nd time, steeping for 8 minutes. Milk & sweetener added -- perfection!

Good Morning! (Sunday, March 20, 2011)

Black tea is my favorite so I might be biased but this tea is really wonderful. It is a great change for morning over coffee. Seems to have a medium body and light crisp flavour.

Good with milk (Friday, September 11, 2009)
Reviewer: Marie-France

This organic English Breakfast is very good tea, especially with milk. I especially love it in the morning but it is also very comforting on cold rainy days. As some other reviewers have mentioned, be sure not over brew it, it does get a bit bitter.

Wonderful English Breakfast Blend (Thursday, July 16, 2009)
Reviewer: Stephanie

I have always enjoyed English Breakfast blends, and this one is one of the best I have ever had.

Excellent after you get used to it (Saturday, June 27, 2009)
Reviewer: Chris

A bit different from your ordinary English Breakfast tea, though both are smooth and satisfying. It's more delicate and not as full-bodied, and I have to put in more leaves and brew it 8-10 minutes in order to get the full, rich taste with milk I like in the morning.

Soft and strong (Saturday, May 30, 2009)
Reviewer: Alexandr

Good energy jolt, nice classic flavor - make sure that you don't brew it more than 3-4 minutes to avoid bitterness.

An All Purpose Black Tea (Saturday, January 31, 2009)
Reviewer: Rachel

This tea is a good alternative to Bohea, if you're feeling poor but require a strong black tea to enjoy with milk and sugar. While not a tea you won't forget, it is a good, basic black tea.

have never felt better !!! (Monday, March 17, 2008)
Reviewer: shirley

i love the english breakfast tea, i feel so good and ready to go in the mornings. i drink it all day long and never get that drop in my energy level as i always have gotten with my 9 diet pepsis that i no longer drink. i have rhuematoid arthritis and i even feel that i don't suffer as much as i have in the past since my switch to tea. i also would like to commend the staff, for always answering any questions i may have, they are always so pleasent and helpful. thank you "teas etc." for making this 60 yr old grandma feel young again...
