Rosy Earl GreyUser reviewsAverage customer review:
This is definitely my favorite black tea! Not only is the flavor rich and smooth, but the tantalizing hint of rose you get toward the end of the sip is simply marvelous. I definitely recommend it!
Great tea in the morning!
This was my first time trying a real flowery tea and it was such a good experience...I just wish that the tea leaves were good for more than a couple of uses (I could use them about twice before I couldn't really have the same dominant 'rosy flavour').
Love Rose...but it was just a little too rosey for me...now ask me about Lavender Earl Grey...Oh my, a definite favorite...absolutely fantastic...beautiful fusion of flavors
Love rose...but still in the middle in terms of how much I like this tea...the rose is very heavy in this tea.
I really like earl grey, but this one can be a little too floral. If you really like perfumey teas, this might be good for you.
This is my favorite black tea. It took me a while to get the timing right to make sure it didn't get overly bitter but still had good rosy flavor. 3minutes 30 seconds seems to do it as long as the water isn't boiling.
This tea is very delicious. It has the taste of earl grey but with an added extra and it smells amazing.
This is, to put it frankly, AMAZING. I can’t believe that it has all that stuff going on in there (jasmine and earl grey and rose, oh my!) and yet it all manages to come together somehow without anything becoming too overpowering. That’s right, I am getting the rose and the jasmine and the earl grey in basically equal amounts! I am freaking out here guys. I am going to have to keep this on hand ALL THE TIME, I am not even lying. As with other “augmented” earl greys though, I don’t really see this as a substitute for normal earl grey, which I need in the mornings to function. However, I really love having this throughout the day, or making a big pot of it, since the different flavors mean I won’t get tired of it even if I’m drinking it for several hours. tl;dr version: A++ would drink/buy again!
I liked this tea since the beginning I started ordering it. It has a relaxing aroma and a great taste, you have to be careful when brewing it not to be too generous with the amount of tea you use because it is quite strong. I mix it with ginseng to have a boost in energy and vitamin C supply. Enjoyable experience 100%.
This tea was good, but you must like floral scents and flavors to truly enjoy. The floral flavors were too much for me. I found it a bit overwhelming!
I enjoy earl grey, but don't think the 'rosey' is something I will order again.
Unfortunately I was not impressed with this tea at all, I love Earl grey tea a lot, but the rosy taste is so strong for me.I have to let this tea go without any regrets.
This is a very frou-frou tea, very girlie. It's just a bit too girlie for me. But if you like the flowery teas, you'll probably like this one because most people do!
For a little afternoon treat, especially after a hectic day, a cup of "Rosy Earl Grey" is what you need. The fragrance of bergamot and rose transports you to a wonderful garden. This tea is delightful both hot or cold. In the summer months, I float a small rose bud in the glass for my guests!
Love this Tea ! The aroma of the three blended teas are so comforting and unique. From the first sip to the last it is very refreshing! Thank you, Linda
This makes for a great iced tea. I've had rave reviews when I served it iced with a dash of cranberry uice and soem fresh mint leaves.
I LOVE LOVE this Tea! Borders on addiction! Thank you so much ,for listening to your customers, Linda
When starting my loose leaf tea journey one of my main quests was to find a "cup of frou-frou" meaning that I wanted a yummy floral tea that would make me feel utterly feminine. This is, without a doubt, my perfect cup of frou-frou. The bergamot, jasmine, and rose are so very well balanced. I've had harsh rose teas, but somehow the bergamot and jasmine lend the rose an almost candied flavor. The aroma is just divine. I am careful to brew it around 205 which keeps the bergamot from becoming too prominent and astringent. If you're looking for a wonderful floral tea that doesn't need additives, then I highly recommend that you give this one a try!
The flowers taste sweet—like candied rose and sugared jasmine petals. This still remains my favorite Earl Grey incarnation! I'm glad I splurged on 8oz!
BUT the flavor is amazing, I love to brew a pot in the afternoon and drink it iced. I find that is actually enhances the flavor. This is definitely a tea for those that like floral aromas and flavors. I know this is an odd comparison but it is very muck like a bottle of Hendrick's gin; something only for the refined pallet that enjoys subtle nuances.
My son and I are big fans of both Jasmine and Earl Grey teas, and when I saw this, I knew we had to try it. It arrived yesterday and we opened it right away. Based on the un-brewed scent, we were afraid the rose might be a little overpowering but once steeped it absolutely wasn't-- the balance is perfect, and were both absolutely blown away by the flavor. It's a very soothing blend and it makes a great evening tea. We'll definitely buy this again.
Wonderfully creative take on a classic flavor. The subtle bergamont flavor pairs very well with the rose and jasmine. I'm not a huge fan of rose teas but I do like Earl Grey. I'm so glad I didn't pass this one by! Not your traditional Earl Grey, definitely worth the try!
I just tried this today and I just have to declare that this is officially my most favorite tea ever! The flavor combination is spectacular and I love the scent of the rose petals. I love Earl Grey and this is a wondeful version of it!
I love the smell and taste of this - it reminds me of the lovely bush - Mock Orange or Philadelpheus or Syringa, depending on who told you the name. Howsomever, there was no smell or taste of Earl Grey present. I'll probably order it again, as it is6so good.
Rosy Earl Grey has a really nice flavor with a hint of sweetness so little or no sweetner is necessary. This is not like conventional Earl Grey tea at all.
I LOVE this tea blend! The Rosy Earl Grey, it is so flavorful and smells so good! I have to wake up to sniffing the bag every morning. The rose and Jasmine are wonderfully combined. Thanks so much for making this blend! Linda Hastings
I absolutely love this tea. The fragrance alone is so enticing and wonderful. The taste is spectacular. Recently I added some dried lavender buds (from the nutrition store near me) and was even more captivated by this blend. The lavender adds a wonderful smoothness to Rosy Earl Grey. The fragrance with the addition is just lovely. I recommend that you try this at least once. Lavender corresponds to peace and stress relief, Roses corresponds to love and self-love, Bergamot (Earl Grey is scented with this) enhances the qualities of all the herbs and teas and makes for a lovely magickal lift!!! Happy Tea Drinking!
This Rosy Earl Grey is exceptional . . . I love the traditional bergamot flavor paired with rose. It is a very fragrant tea.
This tea has a nice light touch of bergamot. It does not overpower the other flavors. It is my favorite black tea.
The Rosey Earl Grey is an absolute delight. It has a subtle Earl Grey and a very rosey bouquet that is just a delight to the palate. I had a friend try it whom stated she really didn't care for Earl Grey Tea too much but she loved this tea.
I absolutley love this tea. I make iced tea and it is so refreshing! I recommend this to anyone who wants a break from the ordinary.
I was quite pleased with the aroma and flavor of this blend. I'm not a big Earl Gray fan, but I love jasmine and rose petals, so I thought I'd try it. While the bergamot is still a bit strong, the jasmine and rose tame it quite well. My husband, who is the opposite of me and thinks jasmine smells and tastes like new shoes (!) really liked this blend, as well.
I was surprised from this blend. Jasmine has become my tea of choice, but when it comes to black teas I have always opted for Earl Grey. I did not expect that the two would mix well, and assumed that the Earl Grey would overtake the Jasmine. I had not had any experience with Rose, but the three together compliment each other nicely. It is not a flavor I would have every day like Jasmine but it is nice for a change especially when I need a bit of a stronger tea for an energy boost!
As a long time Earl Grey fan, this is a delicious blend. At first, when smelling the dry leaves, I was sure the rose petals would overpower the earl grey and jasmine tea. In fact, I'd pretty much decided that I was not going to like it. Much to my surprise, this combination of teas and rose petals is very well balanced with and makes a delicious cup of tea. I am thoroughly enjoying it and plan on ordering it again. |
