Lavender Earl Grey (Friday, August 09, 2013)

This is the most amazing combination. I love both so much and it is one of my most popular teas by far. The flavor is unique and robust with the Earl Grey but the lavendar softens it just enough. A beautiful combination

i tried a few earl greys and really like them , but with the addition of lavender , it takes it another notch up, lovely cup of tea , even as a late evening wine substitute

I love lavender and I love Earl Grey so this is two great loves brought together. This is by far my favorite combination ever! I have a cup of this at least once a day and it is the best. I brew it in my travel mug and off I go. This is a must try!

Lavender Tea (Monday, September 12, 2011)

I am a big fan of Earl Grey and of lavender, so I ordered this tea and had some this past weekend. The aroma when you open the tea is amazing! Great lavender but not overpowering when the tea is brewed. I need to get some to a friend who loves lavender.

Earl Grey is my favorite of all caffeinated teas and I have been known to add lavender to it. When I saw this blend, I thought, perfect, but it isn't. It is very heavy on the lavender and the flavor of the bergamot is almost non-existent. This tea is a disappointment but I am hoping it will grow on me since I bought 3oz of it.

Last night I skipped home from work like a Ralphie waiting for his Little Orphan Annie decoder ring in the mail. I slowly creeped open the mailbox to find a big white box with the Teas Etc logo on it. It was almost like Christmas Day opening my Red Rider BB gun. (Ok, not quite that cool). This was my first order with Teas Etc and I am sure there will be more. Fast shipping and more importantly tip top tea (TTT). I will be honest that I was a little frightened when I saw the amount of lavender that was in the blend. I was worried that the tea would come out tasting like perfume or something. Well there is a reason I donít create tea blends, this thing is great! The liquor is an nice brown color with just the perfect level of lavender goodness. I will continue to enjoy this bad boy daily with no worries about shooting my eye out.

I was very impressed with the flavor of this tea. It has the perfect balance of the Earl Grey and the lavender. This tea is a refreshing twist on the standard Earl Grey. The lavender is just enough but does not overpower the tea.

Not quite enough of the Earl (Thursday, August 06, 2009)

I eagerly awaited this tea, as I love Lavender Earl Grey. When I opened it, there was a truly lovely scent of very fresh delicate lavender, but none of bergamot. I shook the bag, still none. Oh well, the house reeked of fresh basil... The tea looked almost grey from the lavender, which is certainly top-quality stuff. I brewed as per instructions and got a lovely amber cup with a still delightful scent of lavender, but the bergamot was still missing. First sips were delicate lavender, as were all the others. When it was cool enough, I really sloshed it around my mouth and then could taste the faintest hint of bergamot. But that's all I got through a whole six cups. However, there was a nice hint of chamomile at the end. I am going to try again when there is no basil! If it still hasn't enough bergamot, I will add some Earl Grey from someone else that has too much bergamot. It was very nice, but the Earl was away.
