The first steep is bold, smooth and stout – a great wake-up type tea. Honestly though, I look forward to the 2nd and 3rd steeps most on this one. I can get some serious milkiness from those steeps. Fantastic tea.

Golden Monkey organic is easily my favorite tea. Not only is it extremely smooth, but also has just the right amount of caffeine to keep you awake throughout the day. Also, even if you allow the leaves to seep for a long while, the tea never becomes bitter. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

I cannot eat chocolate -- it gives me a migraine -- so I brew this tea really strong (4-5 t. per 8 oz of water) and then drink it with a small amount of sugar and light cream (not milk). It is sublime! Even after steeping for an hour it is never bitter and the chocolte overtones have made it easier for me to give up one of my favorite foods. Although my version looks more like coffee, and purists will argue that I'm not experiencing the true nature of the tea, I adore it.

This must be the first truly high quality tea that I have tried, because it is in a class by itself. No other black tea that I've had can compare. Incredibly smooth, never bitter, and with a beautiful rich aroma. Worth the extra money.

im not sure if this is the best tea i ever had,but when i think of the best tea i ever had , this is one of the first that i would think about, its so captivating, it takes you through various stages, first the leaf smell then when brewing,then the calm smooth flavour, very nice tea.everybody should try this.thanks.

For the past year I have been buying my Golden Monkey from another source but tried this one when I decided to switch to an organic. This tea is SO good -- MILES BETTER than the non-organic that I had been buying. Even after steeping for over an hour, it's still delicious with no bitterness.

This black tea is a little more expensive than some, but you definitely get what you pay for! Normally I like cream and sugar in my black teas, but this one is absolutely delicious on its own!

This is my favorite black tea. Golden Monkey is rich and fragrant, and satisfying. I usually enjoy this tea in the afternoon with milk and honey. If I have time I'll make a pot in the morning too!

This is an incredible tea. I really didn't know what to expect when I got my sample, but this is a mind blowing black tea. I was a Darjeeling, Assam and Lapsang freak, but this tea will have to be added to the list, someplace near the top. Thank you!

This tea is superb. Beautiful golden, twisted leaves brew up to a rich and flavorful cup that makes you feel as if it is imbuing you with the strength of warriors. And did I say it tastes really, really good?

I really enjoy black teas, but tend to stick to the basics such as English Breakfast. I tried the Golden Monkey and am pleasantly surprised!The Golden Monkey has a wonderful smell in the bag that follows through into the cup! The tea is smooth with a steady taste. Love it!
