Wow!!! (Monday, May 13, 2013)
For its price, it does stand up to the test. I tried it with & without a sweetener. Both times the flavor was amazing. Recommended for anyone looking to try something a little unique.
Golden Monkey Superior Organic (Thursday, January 31, 2013)
Delicioso!!! This tea has replaced my morning coffee!!!
Golden Monkey simply the best tea! (Monday, December 10, 2012)
The name is exactly what it is; Golden Monkey Superior Organic. A long time ago I got both Teavana and teas etc Golden Monkey to see the difference; the difference is clear from the second you open the bag, teas etc Golden Monkey smells beautifully and makes a more beautiful brew in all respects. This tea has just the right level of boldness - roasted, honey peach - and caffeine, but it feels that there is something beyond the caffeine that is tickling my brain.
Golden Monkey (Saturday, December 08, 2012)
This is a family favorite: clear, earthy flavor and no bitterness whatsoever. Can't say I've noticed any caffeine jitters--just delicious.
Golden Monkey (Monday, May 07, 2012)
I really enjoy this tea. This tea helped me quit coffee. It gave me the energy and focus I was looking for and the taste was good as well.
It's good (Monday, April 30, 2012)
Sweet and intoxicating. I don't know if I stored it wrong, but it seemed to get moldy after a while.
Organic Golden Monkey Superior (Wednesday, March 14, 2012)
This tea tastes great...I drink it with milk. I have to be careful as to what pot size I make for myself. I made a 8 cup pot the first time I bought it and WOW, talk about the caffeine jitters! So watch out-it packs a punch. You Starbucks folks with love it.
Occasional (Saturday, March 03, 2012)
Not your regular black tea; more green influence. Mild but distinct flavor.
Unique (Friday, February 03, 2012)
A well balanced flavor that sticks to your tongue.
Smooth (Monday, January 02, 2012)
This tea has a very smooth and rich flavor, deep carmel/molasses undertones, sweet and complex.
Great tea (Wednesday, December 28, 2011)
I like this tea but it's pricey. It makes me feel nice.
Love it (Tuesday, December 06, 2011)
Best black tea never had!

Perfect! (Tuesday, November 15, 2011)
I love this tea! It has become my first cup every morning. It has a nice balanced flavour from first to last sip.
best yin/yang (Tuesday, November 15, 2011)
This is the smoothest of black style teas. no need to add sweetener it has a slight natural sweetness to the nose and taste. I can't say I would ever switch teas !
I can't start my day without this tea (Wednesday, September 14, 2011)
I've tried other Golden Monkey tea, but none compare to this one. It's easy to brew, hard to oversteep, great for company, and tastes wonderful! Depending on leaf quantity and brew time it can be sweet and mellow, or bold with a sweet aftertaste. I love it!
fantastic (Friday, September 02, 2011)
this is a fantastic tea smooth and flavorful
Golden Monkey (Monday, July 11, 2011)
This was one of the free samples that I requested with a recent order. I am typically bad about trying them sticking with my old favorites. But yesterday I needed a pick me up and so I decided to live on the edge! I was pleasantly surprised at the smoothness of this combination and enjoyed it so much I brewed a second cup on the spot! Now I am adding this to my favorites list.
Excellent! (Wednesday, May 18, 2011)
A black tea that's a lot like an oolong with a decent caffiene kick. Nice amber color, herbal/citrus aroma. Flavor is smooth, no astringency.
my version of a daily cup of joe (Tuesday, May 17, 2011)
Great tea by itself sweet or unsweetened. Great for dessert if you add 1 tsp of peppermint to the pot.
Shear Bliss (Friday, May 13, 2011)
Great flavor, no astringency. Good for multiple steepings. I will definitely order more of this. Glad I tried it!
AWESOME BLACK GOLD (Monday, May 02, 2011)
THIS TEA IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE BLACKS FROM THE YUNNAN GOLD REGION; SMOOTH AND FLAVORFUL.
Bold (Saturday, March 12, 2011)
This tea has a very bold flavor. Not my favorite black tea.
Very nice (Wednesday, January 26, 2011)
Have really enjoyed this tea. A very nice black tea flavor. Not too strong, but just perfect! Thanks so much!
Golden Monkey superior organic tea (Monday, January 17, 2011)

Golden Monkey (Wednesday, October 20, 2010)
This is my FAVORITE tea. It gives me that extra kick in the morning to get me going. The flavor is full bodied and savory. The aroma is wonderful. Recommend to any tea drinker
Golden Monkey (Wednesday, September 08, 2010)
This is the best black tea I have ever drank, not that I have drank that much, mind you, but it is delicious.
Great depth (Thursday, August 19, 2010)
This tea is wonderful, the first bit of flavor is multi-layered and then finishes smoothly, no astringency, no bite, just a nice ending, inviting you to take another sip!
Golden Monkey the best (Monday, August 09, 2010)
This is the best black tea I have ever tasted. It is naturally sweet and fantastic in the morning.
Golden Monkey the best (Saturday, July 24, 2010)
this golden monkey is the best black tea i have ever tasted. it is fabulous in the morning or evening.will definitely order more
Bold, smooth and sometimes milky (Monday, May 31, 2010)
The first steep is bold, smooth and stout – a great wake-up type tea. Honestly though, I look forward to the 2nd and 3rd steeps most on this one. I can get some serious milkiness from those steeps. Fantastic tea.
My Every Day Tea (Friday, April 02, 2010)
This is, hands down, my favorite tea, and is how I start every morning. It's smooth, mellow and light enough for daily consumption. Love it!
Pretty Good Golden Monkey (Wednesday, March 31, 2010)
This is a nice soothing tea with no bitterness it's a very laid back version of the Golden Monkey that I usually drink.
Smooth yet Strong (Saturday, February 27, 2010)
Golden Monkey organic is easily my favorite tea. Not only is it extremely smooth, but also has just the right amount of caffeine to keep you awake throughout the day. Also, even if you allow the leaves to seep for a long while, the tea never becomes bitter. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!
Golden Monkey (Saturday, February 27, 2010)
Love this one. It can stand a little longer steep...it won't get bitter...just to enhance the lovely flavor.
What a great tea (Monday, February 15, 2010)
I received this tea as a sample and just love the flavor. One of my favorites! Thanks.
a different kind of black tea (Wednesday, February 03, 2010)
this is definitely something different! it's strong like a regular black tea, but has a very good quirky taste to it
Monkey Man (Monday, January 25, 2010)
This tea was sent as a sample; it was REALLY great. It will now be "in stock" in my tea cabinet. A Great find.
A new favorite (Friday, January 22, 2010)
Fragrant, flavorful, no bite. Savor this tea just by itself, or better yet, with a piece of chocolate.
Slightly Bitter (Thursday, January 14, 2010)
This one was a good tea, but slightly bitter.. the rich golden color was nice though, and the tea was very robust.
Golden Monkey (Tuesday, December 29, 2009)
Nice tea for something different...soothing
Excellent (Friday, December 11, 2009)
I received this tea as a sample. Very glad I did. This is a robust tea that is not bitter. Very enjoyable. Has a rich taste.
Best Tea (Wednesday, December 02, 2009)
Out of the ten or so teas I ordered, this one was the best. It has a robust, complex flavor that is surely not to disappoint.
A great black tea (Saturday, November 21, 2009)
Whenever I want a cup of black tea, this is my hands down favorite.
Best tea I've ever tasted (Tuesday, October 13, 2009)
I cannot eat chocolate -- it gives me a migraine -- so I brew this tea really strong (4-5 t. per 8 oz of water) and then drink it with a small amount of sugar and light cream (not milk). It is sublime! Even after steeping for an hour it is never bitter and the chocolte overtones have made it easier for me to give up one of my favorite foods. Although my version looks more like coffee, and purists will argue that I'm not experiencing the true nature of the tea, I adore it.
Disappointing (Sunday, October 04, 2009)
Much much much too mild for our taste - mild to the point of lacking flavor. With so many good teas to choose from, don't pick this one.
Wonderful (Sunday, September 20, 2009)
This must be the first truly high quality tea that I have tried, because it is in a class by itself. No other black tea that I've had can compare. Incredibly smooth, never bitter, and with a beautiful rich aroma. Worth the extra money.
WOW (Monday, September 07, 2009)
im not sure if this is the best tea i ever had,but when i think of the best tea i ever had , this is one of the first that i would think about, its so captivating, it takes you through various stages, first the leaf smell then when brewing, then the calm smooth flavour, very nice tea.everybody should try this.thanks.
OMG! This is so good! (Wednesday, July 15, 2009)
For the past year I have been buying my Golden Monkey from another source but tried this one when I decided to switch to an organic. This tea is SO good -- MILES BETTER than the non-organic that I had been buying. Even after steeping for over an hour, it's still delicious with no bitterness.
A subtle black tea? yes (Sunday, July 12, 2009)
I really like this tea. It has subtle and wonderful flavor tones that I don't usually find in a "black tea."
The best tea (Tuesday, July 07, 2009)
Thank you teasetc.com for the free sample of Golden Monkey tea. It is really phenominal. I had the first cup today and this tea will be on my next order with you.
Worth every penny! (Friday, May 22, 2009)
This black tea is a little more expensive than some, but you definitely get what you pay for! Normally I like cream and sugar in my black teas, but this one is absolutely delicious on its own!
Golden Monkey (Tuesday, March 31, 2009)
This is my favorite black tea. Golden Monkey is rich and fragrant, and satisfying. I usually enjoy this tea in the afternoon with milk and honey. If I have time I'll make a pot in the morning too!
wonderful! (Monday, March 30, 2009)
The aroma of both leaf and cup is so fine... the taste is good, too, mind; very smooth. But it is the aroma that really wins me over.
best yet (Thursday, March 19, 2009)
Love this tea. best black tea I,ve had yet. Great original tea flavor.
I dream of Golden Monkey (Saturday, March 14, 2009)
This is an incredible tea. I really didn't know what to expect when I got my sample, but this is a mind blowing black tea. I was a Darjeeling, Assam and Lapsang freak, but this tea will have to be added to the list, someplace near the top. Thank you!
Organic Golden Monkey (Sunday, March 08, 2009)
This tea is superb. Beautiful golden, twisted leaves brew up to a rich and flavorful cup that makes you feel as if it is imbuing you with the strength of warriors. And did I say it tastes really, really good?
Smooth and Flavorful (Tuesday, February 03, 2009)
I really enjoy black teas, but tend to stick to the basics such as English Breakfast. I tried the Golden Monkey and am pleasantly surprised! The Golden Monkey has a wonderful smell in the bag that follows through into the cup! The tea is smooth with a steady taste. Love it!
This tea is my favorite (Monday, December 15, 2008)
I really enjoy this tea. It is never bitter. The color is a lovely golden color and I like to watch it brew in my clear travel mug. My favorite tea so far!
organic golden money (Sunday, March 09, 2008)
I love this tea! Very smooth and not at all bitter, even with a little overbrewing. Four minutes makes the perfect pot for me.
Best black tea ever (Tuesday, February 20, 2007)
This by far is the best black tea I've ever had. It has a lingeing finish that lures you into wanting more.
