Darjeeling 1st FlushUser reviewsAverage customer review:
As a regular tea drinker, I receive teas as gifts all the time. This is a delicious black tea that has a very distinct flavor steeped for about 4.5 mins. I prefer my black teas in its original form with out added milk/cream. To sweeten it I added a teaspoon of organic Agave syrup. To enjoy the flavor, I'd recommend it to anyone who likes black teas straight up with out anything added to gain a full appreciation of its aroma/flavor.
Just like any other black tea, this has the distinct color & flavor. Be careful not to steep it over 4 mins. because it turns bitter. Recommended for anyone who drinks black tea. Try it with honey or organic agave syrup. You won't be disappointed.
I requested this as a sample with one of my orders. Turns out, I'm glad I did. Its for anyone who likes black tea with a smooth finish but without the over powering flavor or aroma.
I love this tea!! I don't let it steep for very long (2 min) and it turns out great! Will order again!
Very smooth, with wonderful subtle flavor. Great after dinner tea.
To me the dominant component of this tea is it's astringency. Mellow fruit/floral undertones help to round out the astringency, but not enough to make this one of my favorites.
My daughter and I drink tea together every day, and often drink Darjeelings. This one isn't one of our favorites. Maybe it's a characteristic of "first flush," I don't know. It's more single tone and not as interesting in flavor as I expected.
this was recommended to me and it was very good. it tasted a little sweeter than some of the teas im use to but very good!
This tea is wonderful and exactly what I wanted. It would likely make a delicious masala chai but I can't bring myself to "ruin" it because it's great as is. Even the scent is enough to wake me in the morning.
There is really no other taste like it. While this is a black tea, it definitely has lighter tones and a complex flavor. I love to curl up with a good book and sip on this. |
