The 2011 Bai Hao Organic Silver Needle has arrived and is remarkable. This was the first harvest out of the garden during the last week of March before the tomb sweeping holiday (pre-qing ming.)

The highest quality white tea consists of all buds hence the name, silver needle or Yinzhen as it is known in China. This exceptional organic certified silver needle is soft with obvious down, the fine white hairs that coat the buds.

Obviously a cut above this harvest comes from one of our favorite growers in the renowned Fujian province. The pure clean character and hint of woody tones has a smooth, sweet finish that pleasantly lingers, making this a memorable tea experience.
