The unique character of this Chinese oolong has made it one of our favorites.

The large leaves with their notable green edges impart a distinguishable fruit tone. A tribute tea during the Song Dynasty, Fenghuang Dancong is a select oolong tea from Guangdong province, China.

A Strong Medium Brew (Friday, August 08, 2008)

Dan Kong is the first oolong I've tasted that comes close to a milder, black tea. It is quite fruity delivering cherry and possibly some plum flavors. I did not denote any floral tones here. Hot or Cold it's a nice oolong for those who prefer a stronger (but not too strong) taste.

Really enjoy this tea! (Wednesday, January 09, 2008)

I purchased this tea to help me loose weight and have found it to be a nice replacement for coffee in the morning.
