Not my cup of tea (Saturday, March 16, 2013)
Reviewer: Donna

I wrote a previous review on this tea and was probably a little harsh. After experimenting more with Oolong, I have found that I prefer ones with floral notes. So there's nothing wrong with this tea, it's just not my style of Oolong that I would order.

My all-time fave! (Thursday, March 14, 2013)

Beth has taught me well and introduced me to many, many teas. Fanciest Formosa was one of the first and remains my all time FAVORITE! Robust, smooth and comfortably tasty are my adjectives for it. I was reminded of this recently when I found a bag with just enough left for one pot of tea. Must order more. :-)

Not so pleasant! (Sunday, March 03, 2013)

I was dissapointed with this tea. I love the Huang Jin Gui and The Oriental Beauty, but this Oolong fell flat for me and will unfortunately will just sit in my pantry or I'll give it away and maybe someone else will like it.

Superb tea, light flowery taste, and difficult to avoid a second cup, and a third cup, and a ..............cup.

very bold flavour! (Monday, July 09, 2012)
Reviewer: Laura

my Parents have become big Chinese tea drinkers and I wanted to explore a bit to understand a bit more about tea. When I tried this one I was just blown away at how bold and satisfying the flavours were - and how many times I could use the leaves!(it was more than what the tea that my parents had that's for sure!) I've found that I can re-use these leaves more than almost any other kind of loose leaf tea that I've tried so far and still get a very bold flavour. It's a very standard tea that i have been using just about every day.

Smooth and little woodsy (Wednesday, November 16, 2011)
Reviewer: Courtney

Received this as a free sample with a wholesale order at the shop I work in. I have to say it was really nice and smooth. I didn't get the fruity notes that others mentioned. It tasted more woodsy to me, which was awesome. I might have to add this to my wish list!

very nice oolong (Friday, September 02, 2011)

This is a great oolong. Very affordable with lovely fruit nuances within. Smooth and great with your leftover nilgiri leaves from the am. They really compliment one-another and makes them go farther! chris vitello

Iced tea favorite (Friday, July 15, 2011)
Reviewer: Brenda

This is a light tea that doesn't have a strong over powering flavor. This makes a great iced tea.

Fanciest Formosa Oolong Tea (Tuesday, May 31, 2011)
Reviewer: Lynn

This is only the second oolong tea that I have tried and it is quite good - strong but not overpowering. Would definitely purchase again.

Full of Flavor (Thursday, January 14, 2010)
Reviewer: Sheri

I liked the fruitiness of this one. It's unique and flavorful!

A great oolong (Saturday, November 21, 2009)
Reviewer: Janice

This tea made me a convert to oolong. It has a lovely smooth feel. The leaves are large and plump.

Licorice? (Saturday, May 02, 2009)
Reviewer: Dan

This is a lovely tea: the flavor is subtle and with a slightly sweet hint of licorice. Because the leaves are large, be sure to allow plenty of room for them to expand.

A daring and complex tea (Tuesday, January 27, 2009)
Reviewer: Boryana

This tea is quite poetic -- it is dark and robust yet sweet and peachy. It is complex and the flavour travels like a fine red wine. It is also quite strong. It is an instant favourite.

This is one of the few teas I have found that I dont have to put sugar in. I like it.

Great oolong (Sunday, April 08, 2007)

This is a wonderful, flavorful tea - by far my favorite of all of the oolongs I have tried.
