interesting (Saturday, May 25, 2013)

this was my first real oolong ( besides the horrible grocery store type). I found it soothing . the flavor is medium light, no acid, a slight hint of seaweed. I like it. very complex.

Love it! (Thursday, April 28, 2011)

I love oolongs & Shui Xian is no exception. Super smooth & slightly malty with a hint of cocoa. Availability seems hit-or-miss, but a great staple.

Exquisite tea, absolutely delicious (Thursday, November 04, 2010)

I ordered this simply to try it, as I like dark oolongs. Boy, am I glad that I did!! For my personal tastes, this is a superior tea in every regard. It is my favorite tea that I have tried from Teas Etc., and one of my favorite teas that I have EVER tried in my lifetime. Delicious aroma before it is even brewed. Woodsy, earthy tones mingle with a very pronounced chocolately flavor. Smooth, velvety mouth feel, lushly lingering aftertaste. Highest recommendation.

I enjoyed the roasted, darker flavors of this oolong immensely. Brews to a darker color with smooth flavor but a lot of character. The woody tones definitely come through, and there's a roasted/toasted character that makes the two primary flavors a nice combination. I had three excellent infusions and could have tried a fourth... very enjoyable for those who are fans of darker oolongs.

A lovely deep tea (Monday, September 15, 2008)

I love the flavour journey of this tea. Breathing in the steam of your cup, the aroma is berry sweet, with a gentle high floral hint. The flavour is full bodied, warm, woody, chocolate, and autumn. I find it absolutely delicious, especially for winter. It's a bit pricey in the 16 oz, but I got it in my oolong sampler, and will savour it for special occasions or cold winter nights.

Nice Oolong with a bit of a Kick (Saturday, April 26, 2008)

This oolong has an excellent flavor that is woody and fruity at the same time and it goes down fairly smooth. I've shared this tea with a coworker today (we shared several teas as I was expecting my delivery from teas etc) and we both enjoyed it. Additionally, the tea has a bit of a kick to it.
