a nice oolong (Wednesday, January 22, 2014)
This tea slightly reminds me of dragonwell... but not quite as good but also not quite as expensive!
a great oolong (Wednesday, January 22, 2014)
A very good tea for the price.
great tea (Sunday, November 24, 2013)
I highly recommend this tea
spectacular floral notes (Sunday, September 15, 2013)
This has become my favorite oolong. It has wonderful floral overtones and complex rich oolong flavors.
Awesome (Monday, April 08, 2013)
Excellent tea, highly recommended to green tea fans!
FAbulous Oolong (Saturday, March 16, 2013)
Wonderful Oolong with lovely floral notes. One of my absolute favorites.
My absolute favorite tea! (Sunday, March 03, 2013)
This is my favorite Oolong tea. It has beautiful floral notes and just a wonderful flavor. Highly recommend it. I first bought the 3oz size and shortly after bought the 8oz. Love it!
scrumptious oolong (Friday, October 07, 2011)
I cherish this delightful tea that with a superb, clean oolong taste and which holds up well over many infusions.
Another beautiful tea to watch steep... (Friday, January 07, 2011)
The flavor was alos very good, I found it a bit tart on the finish as I approached the bottom of my cup...And certainly more of that striking oolong nose vs. the Orange U Slim...Overall a very pleasant experience.
Not really an Oolong guy... (Saturday, December 04, 2010)
So I was pleasantly surprised by the way this tea unfolded in my mug...Very pretty...There is something about the fragrance of Oolong on my nose that is slightly off-putting...But overall a nice taste, and relaxing tea...I would try another Oolong for sure...
Love this Tea! (Friday, November 05, 2010)
Whenever my husband would travel to China he would bring me home oolong tea. He stopped traveling overseas for now and I missed my tea. Now I have found a tea that is simular to the tea he would bring home. I love this tea. It's mild and never bitter. Has a hint of floral taste which I love.
Good Oolong (Sunday, September 12, 2010)
This is a nice Oolong, smooth, full-bodied.
Huang Jin Gui (Tuesday, May 11, 2010)
this green oolong is so sweetly floral that it literally woos you. I am up to infusion number four and the flavor and scent is still rich and interesting. Very floral with pronounced creaminess present infusion after infusion. And hints of honey really do make up the finish, especially at the third infusion!! I really loved this oolong.
A Gift (Saturday, May 01, 2010)
the recipient gave great praise for the excellent quality and taste
Love this tea! (Wednesday, April 28, 2010)
My husband is no longer traveling to China and I have not been able to find good tea until your website! I love this oolong tea. It's my favorite.
Very Good (Monday, April 05, 2010)
I received this as a sample and really enjoyed it. I will buy it with my next purchase.
A-mazing! (Saturday, February 20, 2010)
A splendid Oolong! Fragrant, delicate and light, but with a lingering sweetness. I brewed at a lower temp for a lengthier time. Mmmm, soooo good. I love it and will be ordering more!
Huang Jin Gui vs Green Ti Kuan Yin (Wednesday, September 23, 2009)
When the Green Ti Kuan Yin was discontinued I searched for an Oolong that could compare. I must say I am very pleased with the taste of the Huang Jin Gui, it is definitely a close second.
Nice (Saturday, May 23, 2009)
This Oolong brewed out to be a very smooth & quiet, but strong Oolong. As always I over brew by choice and it never comes out bitter.
Fruit and Perfume Both (Sunday, March 22, 2009)
This tea reminds me of a cross between a more floral and a more fruity tea. It's pretty balanced once you get used to it but I've faulted because it isn't more strongly either one of those. If you enjoy that Green Oolong fruitiness mixed with feminine perfume, you'll like this tea.
I Can Drink This Tea Either Hot or Cold (Friday, August 08, 2008)
Not as floral as Green Ti Kuan Yin but still some floral notes. I taste a hint of "green" (as in asparagus) along with some peach apricot and buttery flavors. Tung Ting has more of apricot flavors in my view. This is a delightful tea. I like it when I'm not wanting anything really strong but rather a nice soothing cup. Nice on the tummy!
Huang Jin Gui (Wednesday, May 14, 2008)
What I really like about this oolong it that it can be brewed several times and is just as tasty each time. It is a nice tea if you want several cups during the day. It is also very nice chilled, worth brewing the extra time to have some iced tea on hand!
Tasty oolong when drank hot (Saturday, April 26, 2008)
I tried a sample of the huang jin gui since I love oolong tea and I was presently surprised. This is a excellent tasting oolong. I drank it hot but am looking forward to trying it cold as well. This oolong has great aroma and a nice sweet taste to it.
The BEST Oolong (Thursday, April 24, 2008)
All of the Oolongs are terrific from Teas, Etc. This one is the best! Try them all!
tea (Wednesday, April 23, 2008)
It was good but, it was not sweet enough for me. I like it better iced than I did hot.
Excellent green oolong (Friday, March 07, 2008)
I can actually smell the hint of honey when I breathe in the delicious bouquet of this tea. I thought I loved Tung Ting the best of the green oolongs, but the Huang Jin Gui is making me reconsider. Do I have to choose??? :-( This oolong has sooo much flavor; rich and satisfying with a light, slightly sweet finish. And the AROMA!! Mmmmmmm.
