Obvious fruit tones, crisp bright notes and a smooth finish make this a rare yet classic favorite.

This exceptional dark Bai Hao (Oriental Beauty) style oolong comes to us from MiaoLi County in Taiwan, long renowned for producing some of the finest of this superb varietal.

The high elevation, environmental conditions and synergy of the tea bush and the green leaf hooper impart a unique fruit tones, the likes of which we have not cupped since 2002-2003.

This summer harvest is oxidized at approximately 50% and was produced by an award winning tea master.

Beth's brewing tip: Use water heated to 180° and 185° degree range and steep for 4 minutes, the lower water temp really brings out the fruit tones.

I ordered as I heard Oolong is good for metabolism. Now I drink it because it tastes amazing. Again, friends and family have found this tea one of the most appealing in my collection. This is another tea I drink all day several days a week. And yes, the delicious fruit tones do come through. Another must have!

This is an expensive tea for me, but I look at it like a 'treat' at the end of a long day! I brew 2 cups and sip while reading or watching my favorite show. It has a very lovely and subtle plum taste. I just love it!

When brewed this tea is a dark yellow and is full of a floral fruity flavor. The fruitiness of this tea is described as plum, but I think it is peachy. I’d almost swear that I am drinking a peach oolong tea. There aren’t any flavorings added to this tea though… this is all coming from the leaves. It’s really lovely. I’d almost describe it as dense and fruity at the same time. I brewed this with 3.5g tea leaves to 8 oz water at about 190 F.
