For me, the vanilla flavor was not as intense as I had hoped. The flavor is like a sweetened, earthy root-like herb--I guees like Rooibos with Splenda? The scent is like vanilla pipe tabacco--which isn't a bad thing because I love that scent! I wish there were real vanilla beans blended into this.

Awesome for reducing arthritic symptoms! I get the same effect with the tea as I get from taking food enzymes early in the AM on an empty tummy. All rooibos teas are delicious and the added benefit of no caffein is wonderful.

This tea helps me relax and eases my digestive system if I'm worried or didn't eat well during the day. I recommend it hot or cold, in large batches or small. It's a flavorful tea with a deep red color that is hard to resist. I recommend all Rooibos, but this one in particular for its smooth taste.

This is my favorite tea late in the day due to the soothing scent of vanilla, no caffeine and excellent flavor. Very relaxing!
