Earthy flavor (Monday, June 02, 2014)

I received this as a sample w/a recent order. I really liked it. That said, All or most Pu'erh teas have a distinct earthy flavor & aroma. And this Pu'erh Tuo-Cha is no different. For best taste, steep is no more than 4-5 mins. It can be enjoyed sweetened or unsweetened. If your prefer sweetened, s teaspoon of brown sugar or agave syrup helps it quite a bit. I would recommended it to anyone who enjoys black tea(s) & is interested in trying something new.

This tea has an interesting look but no any special or unusual taste.

I love the little nests, as you call them. I can use them twice in the tea traveler mug and they're nicer to take to work than the loose tea. And - it tastes great. Cindy

I wanted to try those strange name teas from TeasEtc collection and ordered a sample. It wasn't my favorite tea, I didn't find anything special about it.I prefer traditional loose teas.

Good Tea, easy to drink (Tuesday, February 28, 2012)

The little nests are supposed to be good for a 5 cup brew, which is going to be at least two big mugs of tea. I split mine in half and put it in a little infuser to make one cup at a time. Hopefully that will make this 3 oz. bag last a little longer. This is a nice, mild tea with no aftertaste. Nothing overwhelming, but then I tend to like that in a tea. I wouldn't say it's bland, but I can't really put a description to the flavor. It's the kind of thing that would marry well with a lot of other flavors. I can't speak to the health benefits yet, but at this rate, it's a nice tea regardless.

The best. (Monday, February 27, 2012)

I have been drinking this tea every day for over 4 years now, and I must say -- it is MY tea. I take it with me everywhere and it feels like liquid health. My body is so used to it by now, and I feel so good drinking it. It is absolutely vital to my existence at this point.

Excellent Pu'Erh (Monday, February 06, 2012)

Very good tea. it is difficult to find Pu'erh tea in many stores and I am so glad to have found teas etc as a good reliable source. Also, I drink 1 to 2 pots per day and along with some excirsize dropped my colesterol level by 32% in a year. Often hard to find anything written about the health benefits in western books or sites ebcause of all the FDA rules but the stuff does work well.

Pu'erh Tuo-Cha...mellow and earthy (Tuesday, January 31, 2012)

I love this tea! At first taste, I wasn't sure. But after a few more sips, it was wonderful. Very mellow, no bitterness, doesn't bother my stomach. Good by honey needed.
