Interesting look (Tuesday, March 04, 2014)
This tea has an interesting look but no any special or unusual taste.
tea pods (Monday, December 30, 2013)
I love the little nests, as you call them. I can use them twice in the tea traveler mug and they're nicer to take to work than the loose tea. And - it tastes great. Cindy
I love this tea (Monday, October 07, 2013)
I got these as a sample and I am so glad I did - I love the flavor!

Pu'erh is one of my favorites! I like it best in the morning as my Hello Today greeing!
Not for me (Tuesday, June 18, 2013)
I wanted to try those strange name teas from TeasEtc collection and ordered a sample. It wasn't my favorite tea, I didn't find anything special about it.I prefer traditional loose teas.
Pu'erh tuo-Cha (Tuesday, March 19, 2013)
By far my very favorite!! love it with a sall amount of natural bliss creamer. Heavanly. Like I am hugging Pooh Bear!!

This tea is nice and brisk and good hot or cold. It has a variety of levels to the taste as you drink it.
Persian Lime (Wednesday, September 05, 2012)
I LOVE this tea. It is delicious hot buy oh, how refreshing when served over ice. There is nothing better, I urge everyone to try it!
Pu-erh Tua Cha (Wednesday, September 05, 2012)

Pu'erh tea (Monday, August 20, 2012)
I have sampled a lot of but truely enjoyed this one. I drink it every day and feel great! I also sell it my store and it is great demand.
Good Tea, easy to drink (Tuesday, February 28, 2012)
The little nests are supposed to be good for a 5 cup brew, which is going to be at least two big mugs of tea. I split mine in half and put it in a little infuser to make one cup at a time. Hopefully that will make this 3 oz. bag last a little longer. This is a nice, mild tea with no aftertaste. Nothing overwhelming, but then I tend to like that in a tea. I wouldn't say it's bland, but I can't really put a description to the flavor. It's the kind of thing that would marry well with a lot of other flavors. I can't speak to the health benefits yet, but at this rate, it's a nice tea regardless.
The best. (Monday, February 27, 2012)
I have been drinking this tea every day for over 4 years now, and I must say -- it is MY tea. I take it with me everywhere and it feels like liquid health. My body is so used to it by now, and I feel so good drinking it. It is absolutely vital to my existence at this point.
Excellent Pu'Erh (Monday, February 06, 2012)
Very good tea. it is difficult to find Pu'erh tea in many stores and I am so glad to have found teas etc as a good reliable source. Also, I drink 1 to 2 pots per day and along with some excirsize dropped my colesterol level by 32% in a year. Often hard to find anything written about the health benefits in western books or sites ebcause of all the FDA rules but the stuff does work well.
Pu'erh Tuo-Cha...mellow and earthy (Tuesday, January 31, 2012)
I love this tea! At first taste, I wasn't sure. But after a few more sips, it was wonderful. Very mellow, no bitterness, doesn't bother my stomach. Good by itself...no honey needed.
Another happy Customer (Monday, December 19, 2011)
I had to order more of this tea in larger quantities because many customers are getting great results. Most recently a kind Lady of 55 years old with terrible triglycerides reported a total drop of 50 points in the year she has been drinking this tea. She mixes hers with Strawberry White, just cause those are her two favorites and drinks it all day long out of her Tea Thermos she got from this company. A great way to drink this fine Tea. Our arteries are thanking you. Love your flavored teas as well. Connie
Great tea! (Wednesday, September 14, 2011)
I absolutely love this tea! Really nice flavor, probably my favorite tea to date!
Lowered my blood pressure! (Friday, September 09, 2011)
Only change in my lifestyle is the Pu'erh tea. Was absolutely thrilled when I just went in for my annual medical check-up and had the Dr. cut my BP med. in half. Tea has a soft, gentle flavor - easy to sip all day long - whick is what I do.
Smooth and delicious! (Friday, September 09, 2011)
Bought this after reading the other reviews. Very satisfied with flavor, mild aroma, interesting tint which changes with the steepings. Will buy this tea again. Also, so easy to use - just drop a cute little package in the Traveler cup.
love these (Wednesday, August 03, 2011)
I just love these....so convenient to use in my tea traveler.......make my first cup at noon and I am good to go for the rest of the day. I have used the loose Pu'erh but this is so much easier to use if you plan on having more than one cup
Best Black Tea! (Wednesday, March 30, 2011)
My husband and I LOVE this tea. We each put a "nest" in our "Tea Traveler" mug and just keep adding boiling water to the same tea all day long. The tea doesn't get bitter or too strong. Amazing! Sometimes we add flavored teas to the Pu'erh Tuo-Cha. It also does lower bad cholesterol! I just had blood work done, and my numbers were MUCH better... with drinking the Pu'erh my only change. This is a delicious everyday, all day drinking tea!
quite good (Monday, March 21, 2011)
I bought this tea for my husband who drinks it everyday. He adds dried orange peel and dried huckleberries to the mix for a soothing infusion.
good (Tuesday, January 11, 2011)
i like this tea best iced, it is almost imposible to over steep.
Pu'erh (Thursday, September 23, 2010)
When you brew this tea, it looks really dark and strong....but it's flavor is really quite mild. More on the lines of a black tea. I like this tea after a heavy meal- helps with digestion. It is an economical choice as it can be re-brewed. I will often mix it with other teas, like an oolong.
Favorite (Sunday, September 12, 2010)
Sometimes I forget which tea is actually my favorite. I guess I will have to break them down into families. I love the Pu'erh, always.\, I can steep it for days and it just gets richer, never bitter.
Really earthy and strong tea... Requires some getting used too (Wednesday, August 25, 2010)
I use Pu Erh Tuo Cha with the tea traveller mug. Since the video of the Tuo Cha said it will never be bitter even if it was left too long. I thought it would be perfect. The first 2 full mugs is really strong. Full bodied. As I keep refilling the mug, the tea gets lighter and my preference is when the tea is at the 3rd refill. I use 1 Tuo Cha for the whole day. Refilling the mug 4-6 times before I throw out the leaves.
different (Sunday, August 08, 2010)
this is the first tea i ever had, that can brew for a very long time without getting bitter, and you can easily control how strong you want it, also infuses a few times.
one of my favs. (Tuesday, July 06, 2010)
I love this tea. Has a strong earthy taste. The nest are also fun and easy to brew.
Awesome Flavour (Saturday, July 03, 2010)
I purchased this tea to help lower my cholesterol. I was surprised to find it to be very flavorful. It has a earthy flavor that has become a favorite for me as an iced beverage.
Incredibly impressed... (Thursday, May 27, 2010)
This tea is amazing. Typically I sweeten most of the tea I drink, but this tea is brilliant and nuanced as-is. It's strong enough that I can have nearly a day's worth of tea from a single portion, and it still tasted wonderful regardless of how long it was steeped. Very earthy and complex. I got this tea as a sample, but I will most definitely be buying more.
A Soft, Slate-y Puerh (Friday, May 07, 2010)
Today, this tastes like very soft, slate-y peat moss. The “slate-y” aspect is pronounced. It’s very much how I imagine rain-soaked granite to taste like. There’s this stone-like, almost sandy (but not gritty), lichen and clover flavor. Yes, this is very soft and slate-y. Not getting too much brine or earth, right now.
Good Stuff (Monday, May 03, 2010)
Started drinking this tea a few months ago as my tea quotient increased. Love it. Earthy, rich and definately an acquired taste. I drink it after lunch and dinner for health benefits and not to feel bloated. Try it.
Mysterious (Monday, April 19, 2010)
I am a reformed coffee drinker and have been experiencing many varieties of green and black teas. Pu erh is the most mysterious of the lot. This formulation is earthy and smooth. I take my teas straight up--no suguar or creamer. This one is like an aged single malt. To cultivate the taste and practice is to have a lifelong enjoying pursuit.
Pu'erh Yuo Cha (Saturday, January 09, 2010)
Nice, strong, earthy tea.
Pu'erh (Thursday, January 07, 2010)
Just ordered another bag of this tea in the larger 8 oz. size. I enjoy this tea very much and now I have my daughter buying it. I like drinking it both hot and at room temperature. Hope that all who read this review will try this tea. Both for it's great taste and secondly for it's health benefits.
A delightful cup of tea (Thursday, December 24, 2009)
This is an amazing puerh tea, that is really all I can say about it. It smells earthy and heavenly at the same time. Each nest is wrapped individually with tissue and it is always nice to open each one to make a special pot of tea. This is really an amazing puerh and I suggest buying at least the 3oz bag, because it runs out too fast if you're an avid tea drinker like me!
Pu erh Tea (Friday, December 04, 2009)
I purchased pu'erh tou cha tea. This is a great tea with an earthy flavor. I particularly liked the convenience of the tou cha since I prepare my tea a quart at a time. Presently I am working on reducing my cholesterol the natural way. This tea in conjunction with vitamins and diet is sure to prove beneficial. Give it a try.
Pu'erh MMM (Thursday, July 23, 2009)
Great tea and delivery method. The premade nest make it a great way to get the right amount of tea for each cup. Has a light but full body taste. It is very Earthy. If you like dark, earthy and hardy tasting teas you will love this one.
Sunday tea (Friday, May 01, 2009)
This is my favorite Sunday tea. There is hardly any work involved. I had 2 nests to my favorite tea pot, let it steep, exercise, go to church and return to finish the pot having it taste better than the first cup after steeping all day. It's great, one of my favorite teas.
just bought another pound (Friday, May 01, 2009)
I bought a small package of this in my last order just to try it and now I'm hooked. I like black tea (Irish Breakfast every morning), but typically drink it with milk and sugar. This tea has a lovely, earthy flavor with no bitterness at all. I love it straight and now drink it all morning (after I finish my Irish Breakfast tea).
Love this tea (Sunday, April 26, 2009)
I drink this tea at least 4 times a day. The amount of energy I get after every cup cannot be described. I mix all of my teas with peppermint and Mate Yerba. This blend with the Pu'erh is by far one of my favorites.
Wonderful accompaniment to other tea flavors (Monday, April 20, 2009)
I haven't tried this tea on its own, because it is goes so nicely with other flavors. In a 6 cup teapot, I like to use one pu'erh "bowl" with about 1.5 tablespoons papaya and mint blend and 1 tablespoon of ginger. Add a little sugar and cinnamon and this tea combination is one of my favorites. Besides tasting great, the tea is also a powerful aid for upset tummies. I drink it regularly to soothe acid reflux. Otherwise, Pu'erh tea was much stronger than I expected. I would suggest doubling the amount of water to at least 4 cups per "bowl" of this tea, but I am usually more fond of subtle flavors.
Love it! (Tuesday, March 17, 2009)
I love this tea! I drink it after every meal and I feel it helps me digest my food better. It tastes great too, very smooth.
My favorite (Tuesday, January 20, 2009)
This is my favorite tea. I can't go without at least one cup of pu'erh a day. Perfect after lunch or heavy dinner. Not mentioning, it is a life saver if you’re hung-over.
Like to use as a blend (Saturday, January 03, 2009)
By itself, the pu'erh is very earthy tasting - not a favorite. I bought it for its high caffeine. I have found that I like it much better blended with a highly flavorful tea like peppermint rooibos.
Pu'erh (Tuesday, November 04, 2008)
have been using for several months. enjoy hot or cold
4 *'s now, hope to give 5 after next blood test! (Friday, October 17, 2008)
I started drinking your tea to help with my cholesterol. I do love the warm smoky smooth flavor. If it really does lower my cholesterol, a pleasure AND a good thing for me. I'll let you know.
Good Tea (Friday, August 15, 2008)
I haven't been much of a tea drinker, mostly two cups of coffee a day. But I do enjoy this tea hot and cold. My cholesterol is very high and I can't tolerate the many types of statins. Even the small amount in Red Yeast Rice. A friend recommended the Pu'erh tea so I am trying it. I believe that there has to be a healthier alternative to chemicals out there. Will follow up with another review after I have my next blood check. I could not find the tea in any stores, but this company was very prompt in their shipping process. Received my first tea in the 3 days they promised.
A beautiful tea. (Tuesday, August 12, 2008)
This tea has a deep but delicate flavour, a gentle aroma, and it is so very pretty. I brew it in my glass tea pot, and it's a pleasure to watch the deep brown colour expand around the cute little nest. Another great tea from this company.
Pu'er tea for lower chlesterol (Friday, August 08, 2008)
The health benefits of this tea are simply amazing. My cholesterol was very high and my doctor put me on Lipitor. After 2 weeks the doctor called me to the office explaining the medication was dangerous to my health. Tests had shown it was causing high liver enzyme levels, more dangerous than the high cholestrol itself. I was given a month to try to lower my cholestrol on my own before my doc would try a different medication. I was told about this tea and Teas Etc.from a friend of mine who used it to lower his cholestrol. I purchased Pu'erh hoping to find a solution to my high cholestrol. I drank it religiously for the next month. My follow up with my doctor was amazing, my cholestrol was down well within the safe zone. The amazing thing is I did this without any excersize. The tea is delicous and full bodied which as a former coffee drinker was suprising to me. I have since quit drinking coffee and enjoy a variety of teas for their flavor. The fact that they are naturally good for your health is a win / win situation.
morning tonic (Sunday, August 03, 2008)
i love this tea. it is a great alternative to having black tea in hte morning. very rich and added health benefits. great with milk.
Best so far (Sunday, August 03, 2008)
This is my new favorite pu-erh!!! For many years I've been drinking HaiChao Pu-erh (individual blocks) brought from my trips to Poland, where I could buy it in every pharmacy... but pharmacy only :) Inconvenient to order online, because there is only one source - China (it took 6 weeks to get the order, and would probably not get it at all if I didn't start emailing the store and complaining). So I'm very happy I've found Pu'erh Tuo-Cha. It's the same tasty as HaiChao if not better and packed in those cute littel nests. I use one nest for one cup (I like my pu-erh strong) and let it sit until the tee cools off a little. Love it!
Pu'erh Tea (Wednesday, May 21, 2008)
I've been drinking this yummy tea for several years now and it's kept my cholesteral numbers at bay. My husband and I just brew a big pot of it and split it between us for the day. I just love how dark and rich the color is, yet the flavor is so mild.
One of my favorites (Saturday, May 10, 2008)
This tea is a staple in my house, on of my absolute favorites. I make a pot and let it sit as long as there is any left, never straining it until it goes into my cup and it only gets better the stronger it gets.
Not my favorite (Wednesday, March 26, 2008)
I give it two stars only because I personally didn't like the flavor. I bought it for the detox purpose but it's not what I thought...it's just OK . But this site has many more great teas that I will continue to shop here.
Love it (Tuesday, January 15, 2008)
This is one of my favorite teas especially when I don't feel like measuring. I just add a large nest to a tea pot I let it sit all day and never strain it and it never gets bitter just stronger and richer. This tea is one of my mainstays and if it lowers my cholesteral that's great too. Michelle Metcalf
Pu'erh and Cholesterol (Thursday, November 09, 2006)
My wife suggested that I drink this tea after a visit to the doctor's office. My LDL cholesterol was 240 and the Dr wanted me to come back in 30 days for another test. If my levels were still high he was going to put me on Lipitor. I drank four cups of this tea every day, mostly after my morning coffee and at room temperture during the work day. That was the only major change I made to my diet during the 30 days between doctor visits. When I went back and had my cholesterol tested again, my LDL was at 190. Needless to say, I am very happy that I could reduce my cholesterol naturally.
