Citrus Burst Pu'erhUser reviewsAverage customer review:
This is my favorite tea. I drink it all day long. Flavor is zesty and lively but not overpowering. The aroma is sooo very satifying.
I wouldn't order this but I did enjoy trying it in a sample.
This tea is delicious but make sure you have something in your stomach before having a pot, I found that if I drink this tea on an empty stomach I felt nauseous afterwards.
I liked this!
I think to myself "ah, samples, weird stuff that I'll never like," but I keep finding great teas this way! I got this tea as a sample along with my puerh tuo cha tea. This is a lovely citrus blend, easy to drink. The Puerh is a bit plain on its own, but its so smooth it blends beautifully with other flavors. This blend's ingredients are actually listed as: natural citrus essential oil, lemon verbena, and lemon grass. It's a nice, light citrus taste, but it's not grassy or "health food" tasting. Lovely! Honestly, I wasn't even a tea person before!
I started drinking regular puerh for the health benefits, but didn't like the muddy flavor. The lemon in this blend adds a nice zing that makes the taste enjoyable, well-balanced, and not overly citrusy. Lemongrass also has its own health benefits. Definitely a daily drinker.
This tea impressed me as soon as I opened the bag. It has such a strong and lovely aroma! I would describe it as a sweet spiced orange sort of smell. It tastes just as good! I couldn't smell the lemony tart tones as much as the orange, but they definitely come through in the taste. I brewed it for the recommended 4 minutes and was surprised by how dark it came out. I usually don't drink black teas much because they can be heavy and bitter. I've never had a pu'erh tea before, so didn't know what to expect. This was perhaps a little bit heavier than a green tea, but definitely not bitter. Really enjoyable! I'd drink it all day, but it has a bit too much caffeine for that.
This came as a sample with my last order. I did try it but wouldn't buy it. It's not bad, but too heavy for me. I like light teas.
Yes, it can...This fine mixture of flavors are a pleasure any time of the day. I brew mine strong for rich flavor.
While I like this blend it is not something I would drink every day. The citrus is just a little too strong for my personal taste.
Very refreshing, which is fairly unexpected owing to it's black coffee appearance. So far, i've only tried this tea hot, but it definitely seems like it could shine on ice.
This is a good blend of Pu'erh for those not accustomed to the intense flavor of a good Pu'erh I tried it Cold and it works! Perfect with an extra squeese of lemon on the rocks. The Lemon grass gives it a mild zing while not overly masking the actual tea like so many blemds seem to do. If Pu'erh is as good for you as everything I read then this is a double header, Good tasteing and good for you
I got the Citrus Burst Pu'erh as a free sample with another order. I was quite impressed, but disappointed that wasn't part of the main order. Next time I place an order with Teas Etc. this tea will be part of the main order! It had a delightful citrus taste that went very well with the pu'erh. The tea was quite smooth and not astringent or bitter.
This Citrus Burst Pu'erh is absolutely delightful, such a refreshing taste and full body. I've been drinking Pu'erh teas for a year now, and recently had my cholesterol tested to find it is now finally in normal ranges. I was a candidate for statin drugs before. I owe it to the Pu'erhs I've gotten from Tea's Etc. Very healthy indeed. |
